Available test
DOT Drug Tests
Department of Transportation regulated 5-panel drug testing for FAA, FMCSA, FRA, FTA, PHMSA & USCG employees.
DOT 5 Panel Urine Drug Test
This drug test is for individuals in safety-sensitive positions regulated by the Department of Transportation, such as truck drivers, bus drivers, pilots, and certain railroad employees.
DOT 5 Panel Urine RTD/Follow-Up Observed Drug Test
This drug test is for individuals in safety-sensitive positions regulated by the Department of Transportation that need an observed return-to-duty or follow-up drug testing.
The term "5-panel drug test" in the context of the Department of Transportation (DOT) is somewhat of a misnomer. While it is commonly referred to as a 5-panel test, DOT drug testing actually involves the screening of more than five substances.
Non-DOT Drug Tests
In urine drug testing, panels refer to the number of different drugs or drug classes that a test can detect. We can help you select the appropriate panel based on your needs to ensure accurate and relevant information. The panels below are lab-based and results are typically available within 1-2 business days.
5 Panel Urine Drug Test “DOT look-alike”
This test mimics a DOT 5-panel in the substances tested and cutoff concentrations, but is not a regulated test.
5 Panel Urine Drug Test
This would be considered a standard 5-panel, with 5 substances tested. The cutoff ranges for this test are less stringent than for regulated tests.
5 Panel Urine Drug Test w/o THC
The 5-panel w/o THC is often used in specific industries or job roles where marijuana use might be legally permissible or not a primary concern.
10 Panel Urine Drug Test
A 10-panel drug test expands on the 5-panel test by detecting a wider range of drugs, including prescription medications.
10 Panel Urine Drug Test w/o THC
This test has all the benefits of a 10-panel but w/o THC.
10 Panel Urine Drug Test with Fentanyl
A standard 10-panel PLUS Fentanyl, a synthetic opioid that is primarily used to manage severe and or chronic pain, but is also used illicitly
These are the most commonly seen panels at our office. We are also able to create custom panels tailored to your specific needs. Feel free to call us to discuss your requirements and receive a personalized quote.
Urine Alcohol Tests
Urine alcohol tests are used to detect the presence of alcohol or its metabolites in a person's system. There are 2 main types offered: ETG and ETOH. Check out the FAQ below for more information.
Standalone ETG (80 Hour Alcohol)
This test can typically detect alcohol in urine for up to 80 hours after consumption.
5 Panel Urine Drug Test with ETG
This is a standard 5-panel PLUS an 80-hour “lookback” for alcohol consumption.
5 Panel Urine Drug Test with ETOH
This is a standard 5-panel PLUS detection of recent (within the last 12-48 hours) alcohol consumption.
7 Panel Urine Drug Test with ETOH
We have expanded the standard 5-panel to include two additional substances PLUS detection of recent (within the last 12-48 hours) alcohol consumption.
10 Panel Urine Drug Test with ETG
This is a standard 10-panel PLUS an 80-hour “lookback” for alcohol consumption.
10 Panel Urine Drug Test with ETOH
This is a standard 10-panel PLUS detection of recent (within the last 12-48 hours) alcohol consumption.

Urine Instant Tests
Instant urine panels are rapid screening tests designed to detect the presence of drugs or their metabolites in a person's urine sample. Compared to the lab-based tests, results are available within minutes of sample collection.
For best practice, any non-negative instant tests should be sent to the lab for further testing.
Urine 5 Panel Instant
The instant test is just like the lab-based 5-panel, except results are available immediately after testing.
Urine 10 Panel Instant
Just like the 5-panel instant, but detects a wider range of drugs.
Custom panels
We are also able to create custom panels tailored to your specific needs. Feel free to call us to discuss your requirements and receive a personalized quote.

FAQ / Things to Know
What Is The Difference Between ETG & ETOH Testing?
- ETG testing is often used in situations where a longer detection window and high sensitivity are essential, such as in legal cases, probation monitoring, or specific workplace scenarios where strict alcohol abstinence is required.
- Ethanol (ETOH) is a highly sensitive test used to detect recent alcohol consumption. It is highly specific to ethanol ingestion (the type of alcohol found in alcoholic beverages) and provides a reliable indication of recent drinking activity. It is less specific than the ETG test, limiting alcohol detection to the last few hours.
What Are Drug Panels?
- Drug panels refer to a set of specific drugs and/or substances that are being tested for. The term “panel” is used to describe the combination of drugs being tested for in a particular screening.
- For example, a 5-panel drug test checks for 5 substances, while a 7-panel tests for 7.
- Panels can be customized to your needs and selection depends on specific requirements or policies of the organization or entity conducting the drug test.
What Is The Difference Between A DOT And A non-DOT 5-Panel Test?
- While the substances tested in both panels are identical, the difference is that during the DOT 5 Panel test, we follow specific DOT protocols, including chain of custody procedures and specific cutoff levels for drug concentrations.
- DOT samples are also “split”, meaning you have to provide 45ml of urine, whereas a non-DOT 5 Panel may only need 15ml.
How Long Does It Take To Get Results?
- Negative lab-based results usually take 1-2 business days from the time the lab receives the sample.
- Positive results can take as long as 5-7 days to be reported.
- Instant results are available within 3-5 minutes of sample collection.
- Please note: it is best practice to send any non-negative instant samples to the lab for additional testing. Rapid drug screens have limitations, particularly their potential for false positives and inability to distinguish between different drugs within the same class.
